Dear Family and Friends,
Diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemeia) 8 years ago came as a surprise....it decided to rejoin me just over a year ago~but I WILL win.
Today as we monitor and manage this disease, my disease, it certainly lends good days and then those other days. Being a part of the CLL Society provides valuable information to those on this journey while we wait for THE CURE.
I will be participating in a 5K to raise money for the CLL Society. The knowledge we gain helps those with the disease along with their caregivers.
The run will take place on July 23rd and I will do mine at ARBOR HILLS NATURE PRESERVE in the Texas heat....come and join me?
We do believe THE CURE for CLL is coming soon.

Celebrating Long Lives is about recognizing, supporting, and raising awareness of patients and caregivers who have had their lives changed by a chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) diagnosis.
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is a rare type of blood cancer, yet the most common type of adult leukemia, that impacts 200,000 people around the United States. CLL Society is commited to providing every individual touched by a CLL/SLL diagnosis with the support and education they need to thrive because they believe SMART PATIENTS GET SMART CARE™! The organization also supports the development of improved treatments and finding a cure for CLL by funding CLL-specific research!
