The CLL Society is having a virtual 5k to help raise money for research and patient services.  I"m in! Currently there is no cure for this disease which I have had since 2001! I have had chemo and now am on a treatment called Acalabrutinib that is working well. I will need to take two of thse pills a day forever, as well as have monthly IVIG infusions of antibodies. My CLL specialist is one of the best. I got his name from a person in the support group.

The CLL Society support group has been a real lifesaver. I talk to others like me, get good information about my options, and generally get much needed support.
