200,000 individuals across the United States are living with the incurable cancer, chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL).

This Giving Tuesday, you can help connect these people to a support community that is waiting for them.

Lynn Bass was overwhelmed when she was told the news that she had chronic lymphocytic leukemia, like anyone faced with a cancer diagnosis would be. Especially a cancer that is incurable.

"Of course I go home and look online and see cancer and see leukemia and become very frightened," she said.

"I pretty quickly came to find information from CLL Society, and it was a godsend.

I felt welcomed in to a community of people who were accesible, and warm, and supportive."

Luckily, Lynn found CLL Society and our support groups quickly made what felt like it would be unbareable, bareable.

We know there are an estimated 130,000 people living with CLL/SLL that are not accessing the resources CLL Society has to support them.

Today, you can help people like Lynn find the community of fellow patients they have been searching for that will help them navigate a cancer they have been told they will spend the rest of their life living with.

Your donation can help these individuals come home to CLL Society.

Listen to Lynn's story of how becoming a support group facilitator with CLL Society bonded her in a community with the mindset of "We Are in This Together" and prepared her for what is ahead in her journey with CLL.

Your donation to CLL Society supports the work that is helping patients with CLL live longer.

CLL Society Research Program

We fund areas of basic and translational research exclusively in remaining areas of unmet need in CLL. We believe these research projects have the most promise in discovering new medical breakthroughs in the treatment of and curing CLL/SLL. Grants are awarded to researchers who are early in their career, contributing to the development of a generation of scientists devoted to solving CLL.

You can be a part of searching beyond palliative care options to find a cure for those living with CLL.

 Advocacy Efforts

We advocate in the news and behind the scenes to government officials to both raise awareness of the needs those with CLL/SLL have and to increase health equity. Scientific breakthroughs for medication to treat CLL/SLL and education on care options are only as valuable as the access patients have to those lifesaving treatments.

You can help ensure all patients experience equal access to treatment options and healthcare.

 Educational and Support Programs

Our educational webinars, support groups, and patient-friendly reviews of medical abstracts are empowering patients with knowledge about their disease so they can self-advocate for receiving the best care for their cancer. Our Expert AccessTM Program is connecting patients to an expert CLL physician at no-cost that they otherwise would not have access to because of geographic or insurance limitations.

You can give patients with CLL the resources they need to get the right care for their cancer.
